Following up with the limited edition of his hand-colored bowls from the Folk series, Michal Bačák went on exploring South-Moravian folklore and devoted his decoration of the large interior bowl to the Earth. His Slavic goddess of fertility, Živa, albeit historically viewed as the goddess of the Slavs from the Elbe basin, as if burst into her full beauty as late as in Moravia, and began rewarding both the Earth and the bowl with an unexpected power. Fill the bowl with either fruit or Pho soup, and see for yourself. Fruit fast ripes into full flavor in it, while the soup suddenly does not need any seasoning. The bowl comes in three variants of color decoration – cobalt blue onion and with a golden cap, and in a Byzantian version with a dominant golden drawing line.
